Every minute we get closer to 2030, cutting fossil fuel emissions in half while enabling a just transition can often seem impossible. But communities across the US and the world have been doing the impossible—and winning—in David vs. Goliath fights to curb emissions by stopping fossil fuel projects that threaten their rights, livelihoods, and homelands.

This discussion, hosted by the Rockefeller Foundation, centered on the key messages of Equation Campaign’s Executive Director Katie Redford's recent book, The Revolution Will Not Be Litigated, which shows what is possible when you support leaders and movements targeting the source of the problem through creative uses of the law.

Alongside grantee partners as panelists, the event demonstrated the key climate justice funding strategies of Equation Campaign. Through the stories of the most accomplished frontline activists and lawyers, this conversation will inspire other funders and advocates on how you can win when all of the odds seem stacked against you.
