Sam is Senior Manager of External Affairs at Equation Campaign, focusing on fundraising, communications, and optimizing Equation Campaign's processes. She is a champion for process optimization with nearly a decade of experience in the non-profit and social enterprise space. Raised in North Carolina, she developed an early passion for the environment and social causes and received her Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Technology. 

After graduation, Sam spent her years in organizations that offered leadership development to young adults through international exchange and supporting social entrepreneurs and changemakers globally. She's excited to be back supporting frontline defenders fighting for environmental justice.
